1. Caring for your Chess Pieces

Your pieces are made from high-quality ABS, PVC and Iron with premium finishes, including Gun Metal, Bronze Silver, Black plating, and Mirror finishes.

Cleaning

  • Use a soft microfiber cloth to wipe pieces gently.
  • For fingerprints or smudges, lightly dampen the cloth with water only.
  • Avoid chemical cleaners or metal polishes (they may damage plated finishes).

Avoid

  • Abrasive materials or rough cloths
  • Household sprays, harsh chemicals, or solvents
  • Submerging pieces in water

Storage

  • Store pieces inside the original presentation box or foam compartments.
  • Keep away from humidity and moisture.

2. Caring for the Glass Chessboard

Your board may be made from tempered black, white & mirror, or silver & mirror glass.

Cleaning

  • Use a microfiber cloth to wipe the surface.
  • For glass cleaner, spray it on the cloth—not directly on the board.
  • Wipe gently in circular motions.

Avoid

  • Excessive pressure on the glass
  • Abrasive pads or scrubbing agents
  • Sharp objects near the surface
  • Direct spraying along the edges

Placement

  • Use on a level, stable surface.
  • Avoid exposure to temperature extremes.
  • Keep away from table edges.

3. Caring for the Heritage Boxes

Your chess set includes either the Royal Blue Heritage Edition or the Saffron Gold Imperial Edition presentation box.
